One practice. Two vantage points.
I'm an engineering leader who never stopped designing systems, and an architect who learned to run the room. I lead the way I architect — with bias for clarity, evidence, and pace — and I architect the way I lead, with the seams that survive what you didn't see coming.
Currently leading teams in Wealth & Asset Management Engineering at Charles Schwab. Before that, Associate Director at Galliard Capital, co-founder and Director of Technology at Skyline, and Solution Architect at Wells Fargo. Twenty-four years across .NET, Java, TypeScript, cloud-native platforms, distributed data, and applied AI.

Architecture
I design systems that survive change.
DDD boundaries, contract-first APIs, event-driven cores. Architectures live for a decade; the bet is on the seams. I'm still in the codebase.
AI
AI-native by default.
Applied AI and agentic systems in production, with the guardrails, evals, and policy to match. Three years of bringing AI into regulated workflows where it has to be trustworthy, not just clever.
Modernization
Monolith → cloud-native without the theatre.
I've led modernizations on Azure, GCP, and Cloud Foundry. Pick the smallest cut that unlocks the business case; ship; compound from there.
